This number has been calling every single evening (suppertime hours) for weeks now -- listing on Call Display reads CIBC who I DO happen to bank with. I generally let the call go to Voice Mail -- they NEVER leave a message. The few times that I have picked up the call, there is nobody there -- or if there is, it takes too long for them to respond to me answering, and I hang up. How do I get this to stop?? Or who do I contact to have my number removed from their call list -- I thought I WAS registered on a Do Not Call list -- so am confused!! Thanks so much!!
Please post here what you eventually find out -- I am curious, also -- it is becoming very annoying and I WILL pull all of my banking from CIBC if I learn that it is in ANY way affiliated with them -- I will be furious. I do not want my financial institution calling incessantly to offer me other financial products, etc. -- I find it very intrusive. Tks so much!
Called CIBC's contact number, they confirmed that it is one of their outbound calling promotions (not a very professional one though), and it is located in Canada, not India (despite the ethnic Indian names of most of those calling me) my previous advice stands; give them no personal information. Anyone that rude and ignorant who calls once a day, every day deserves nothing. Finally got them to remove my number from their calling list, although they still insisted on my personal information to do so. I had to speak with a manager who was more reasonable than the stupid phone monkey who initially took my call.
Called here: 1-800-465-CIBC (2422) - CIBC telephone banking to complainDemand that:-They immediate place your number on their internal do not call list, they will try and [***] you and try to get you to confirm personal details in order to do so, don't stand for it. Demand the operators Name and employee number, demand to be transferred to a manager and repeat the process. If this doesn't work threaten to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB), Canadian Radio Television Telecommunications commission and threaten to file a police report for telephone harassment, threaten to report them for using a telephone manner to commit fraudulent criminal acts.Threaten to contact the media and have a negative story run on CIBC, also tell them you will cancel all your accounts and never do business with them again if the harassment continues. Tell them you plan to contact all your family and friends and actively encourage them to cancel their business with CIBC.Finally, Call these numbers to talk to the CIBC Ombudsman's office, once a day, (every day just like they do to you)1-800-308-6859 or 416-861-3313If this doesn't work, threaten to sue them in court.
CIBC wants to review my accounts... GO AWAY!
They called me a lot. I finally picked up and it's a stupid CIBC sales call
I keep getting calls from this number. Refuse to answer. Have absolutely no idea how they got my number, yet they call me everyday.
They've been calling me almost everyday for the past while. I Never answer, they never leave a message.
My cell phone has a reject list that will block the number in future unless they use a different number, if so I just add that one to the reject list. I never answer.

Calls once or twice per week with voice msg "Brandon from CTS" call me back. WTF is CTS? No context, no real msg.
Phone number calls multiple times a day, once someone from my office picks up, it is dead silence on the other line. When you try to call back, it is a number that is not in service.

Was applying for a CC through Amazon Prime. Do not need it but thought it might save me money.
Got a letter that said I applied for an AMAZON card. Called the number to inquire what this was for, they started asking for personal information. When I said no they hung up on me.

Scam debit collector. I say 'scam' because I don't have a credit card, loan, lease, tuition, or debit or any kind. I own my home, vehicle, and everything in them. There's not a single reason for a debit collector to be calling me.
Says it’s Amazon and charged my banking account fraudulently. Amazon has no record of my transaction.
