My grandfather gets calls from them everyday now. I think it's a con job. They think that they can take advantage of him because he's now 95 years old and not altogetherly with it. I put the number on his telephone directory under the name "do not answer." It's really annoying though.

I have gotten repeated calls from this number. If it was actually legitimate, they would leave voice mail.

If you bank with them, they already have your info. They will contact you by mail. They are data mining if they call. Or it is a scam. Either way dont give personal info. It is more valuable than you think.

Ask them to pay you. When a bank calls, they want info. It is worth something to them. They sell all your info anyway.

The called me in October-November 15 times from 2 different numbers(one of them 800-741-4591). In February they started again. I set up my smart phone to send all calls to voicemail and life is good now.

really? They called me yesterday. Did not leave a message. I have no accounts with CIBC.

This number is not CIBC, but rather a phishing fraud trying to obtain financial information.

Ok so it is legit but I like to know why do they need to know your name and info if they already know who you are ? There the ones that call , don't they know who they are calling ?
