Claiming to be cibc. Complete [***]. I personally called cibc and they didn't recognize the number. Watch ur backs ppl! All kinds of scams going on!

Received a call from this number early Saturday afternoon. There was no one at the other end for several seconds, just static. Then a male with a heavily accented voice said he was calling from CIBC and wanted to talk to me about my investment planning. I said "no thank you" and hung up. It's likely this is spoofed, as this number is not listen on the CIBC web site.

Not cibc. I called cibc and they don't recognize this number.

I keep getting this call frequently atleast 3 to 4 times a day and nobody answers when I pick up.

These [***] called me too from the same number. They wasted an hour of my time attempting to consolidate some loans to save me on the interest rates to no avail. All they did was waste an hour of my time. In fact they wanted a lawyer fee of $1150 so that I could save a few hundred dollars. I called CIBC corporate and they verified that indeed that was a legitimate call from CIBC but that they would have my phone number removed. I explained to them my great displeasure in being called at 7pm and then questioned on my loans, and asked if I was facing a financial emergency etc. I make 100,000 a year and spend more than I should but I never miss a payment and have not violated any contract. What they did was unacceptable and an invasion of privacy. [***] CIBC.

i get this call around midnight, almost every night. i never answer unknown numbers and they never leave a message. i contacted cibc and apparently the number is legit but they couldnt tell me what it was about.

This number has been calling me around 6:30 pm every day for the last 3 weeks

CIBC just trying to get me to bank with them after they approved me for a visa and just asked how I'm liking their services

I now can add this number to my do not answer 800 471 4591, up to 4 do not answer, plus now I get text messages.I am going to do what my nephew does.Answer, let them do a few blurbs, then say you know I am not sure can you repeat that, let them go back into speach, them wait, say I am not sure can you repeat it again, keep doing this and they will get the hint. Some of us are not on a cell plan and the calls cost us money. Wish they would give up, it gets tiring.
