I called CIBC gave them the number and it is from the marketing department. It is not a scam just harrasment.
Seven years of (very bad) history for this number on this web site alone, and yet they are STILL calling. They called me today. Didn't answer. Are there really STILL telemarketing scammers who think people don't consult the Internet to check up on the legitimacy of unknown callers? What fools these scammers are.
I got calls from this number everyday. But when I picked up the phone, no one answer it. It must call from a system. It is very annoying, please stop it. It shows CIBC as the caller ID.
It is CIBC calling, an automated system. I talked to them the first time they called, and then for the rest of the day, it kept calling me at least 8 times. Why doesn't CIBC just fix their system instead blatantly using it like this?
