yeah so i have had this phone number for like 3 years and she is still giving hout this number and its really starting to piss me off cuz its SOOO ANNOYING! expecially when they wake you up.
call me aggressively 12 times a day and late at night and early in the morning, very harrasing and should be illegal. i had a debt collecter that called me a couple weeks ago and he was very nice on the phone and guess what we worked something out and i paid him. you debt collecters that call people and harrass them, be rude to them, call them all night long, are not going to get a dime. TREAT PEOPLE WITH RESPECT, WE LOSE ARE JOBS UNWILLINGLY AND CANNOT FIND WORK IN THIS [***] UP ECONOMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IT IS CAPITOL ONE VISA THAT IS PRACTICING ILLEGAL TACTICS FOR COLLECTION PURPOSES, I WILL REPORT YOU THE MORE YOU CALL THE LESS YOU GET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This number calls me 4+ times a day, doesn't leave a message. It's happened before and usually lasts for at least a week until they quit. They do this a couple times a year.
I have been getting calls for over a week from this number four to six times a day including weekends. "Linda" leaves a message to call Capitol One @1-866-953-7906. I looked up that number and the comments are that they will ask for your account number and then your SSN. If you get an actual human and tell them you don't have an account, they will say they have phone trouble and to call back. What a scam!
This # called three times a day for the last four days. Finally, they left a message that it was Cap.1, and they had a very important "business transaction" for me. Turns out, it's not Cap1 the credit card part, but the financial institution part and they would love to have me re-mortgage my home with them. I asked the lady how she could be calling me to solicit when I'm on the D.N.C. list, and she said that as a "lender", Cap.1 is exempt. Lotta good the DNC list is, banks and politicians are exempt!
this is not an official Capital One call. This and the calls from GE Credit are scams from a call center in India that have somehow gotten your personal information. Regardless of your current payment status, they will always ask for you to send an electronic payment of some $100+ . They want your bank acct number and your cash. DO NOT EVER PAY THEM A CENT! Tell them you are recording the message and will submit it to your State's Attorney General.
This is NOT Capital One. It is a company pretending to be Capital One.Someone from this number keeps leaving me voice mail messages. It is always a woman, and the message goes something like, "Hello, this is Stacy from Capital One. Please call us at (toll free number) to discuss an important business matter.I have two cards with Capital One. I have never made a late payment to either. I called the number they left, and the rep, who had a very thick Indian accent asked my account number. I said, "I don't know. You called me, and I have more than one account. He wanted me to tell him both account numbers. I refused and asked him to look up my account by my name or phone number. Then he asked for my social security number. I knew at that point this was fraudulent.I hung up and called the Capital One number on the back of my credit cards. The customer service rep. looked up both accounts and said both were in good standing and NO ONE HAD CALLED ME. They said the call I received was a scam to try to get credit card and/or social security numbers. He said Capital One would never ask a customer to give their social security number over the phone.DO NOT give any information out to anyone who calls from this number.
