calls repeatedly, told them to stop, told them remove our name, told them we are thinking of turning them in. Just stop already!! Never have had thier card , never will.
It's capital one. This# called and left a vm of 3 sec of silence. called back out of curiosity, it was in fact capital one, I did not enter my cc#, just waited thru the recording til it said it would connect me to an operator. I had the live operator verify what they had on record first before I gave any info re: my acct. It was a pmnt that I had missed. Just set up a pmnt for my nxt pay period and they said it wouldn't affect credit report etc as it wasn't yet 30 days late. I'd advise you to call, because if you dont have a card, they either think you do or they have your ph#,(maybe someone's old one?) which you can ask them to remove. Also, if anyone isn't sure what your rights are whether you're the responsible account holder or know nothing about why they're calling, dave ramseys financial peace course had a lot of info specifically about consumer rights when debts owed and also the dnc lists etc. it helped me. Hope it helps.
They call my phone from time to time--as do many others! Since I feel no compunction to answer calls to my cell phone from ANY number I don't recognize, it really is no problem--I only look at the incoming # to see if it is familiar and don't answer if it is not...
Remains silent unless you talk. Once you say something, they say to "hold the line" for a caller. No one picked up, and after nearly 2 minutes, the line hung up.Filed an FCC complaint.
I get these calls from them and it's just silence and they have been calling multiple times throughout the day for a week already. I'm getting fed up with it. Everyone keeps saying its Captiol One. I don't even have an account with them.
