this number has been calling me over a week. it's getting bery annoying, if this problem still continues i'm going to report this number for harrassment. this number has been calling me on sundays to.
Same--a lot of calls that I don't answer----no messages----Now that I know it is collections---I just add that number to my call reject list! Everytime she calls now--instant rejection!! I don't even know unless I check the list of rejected calls now and then! Try it! :)
I continually get a phone call from these people. When I answer no one is there. These people are pricks.
I DO have a Capital One account and it IS slightly past due. After reading so many posts saying this is a phishing scam, I called the number back and spoke to a very polite woman who asked for the same info as the rest. When I expressed reluctance to give anything more than my name and phone number, she was able to read me the last four digits of my actual account. She asked then for my birthdate, saying that she needed it to access the account in her system. I told her that I would rather speak to a number that I could confirm was Capital One and she said that was fine and told me to call the number on the back of the card, which she read to me in full.I then called Capital One directly and the woman I spoke to confirmed for me that BOTH numbers are legitimate.I understand, given the prevalence of scams, why people are skeptical when they get calls like these. In this case, however, I'm pretty sure that this is not a scam.
Yeah, so I forgot to pay my bill. Capital One called me. I went online and paid the bill. No more calls. Pay your freakin bills and you won't get phone calls either, whiners. It isn't that complicated.
I answered and i heard a girl laughing in the back gound saying "he answered" and then hung up... this is a scammer. not capital one
I received a call from some girl calling herself Yuan Jian and she tried to talk to my dad about a "personal business matter" which was suspicious enough as it is. When I called the number back it was a fake Capital One message board trying to phish for my bank card number. Has anyone else had something similar happen?
