I wrote Capital One. Letter to stop calling. Now this stupid number keeps calling. After a letter is sent, each call is worth compensation in court for 1,000 per call. Thanks for the money jerks! 8132741837

just called the number and got my number removed from their list.. you just have to keep going through the recording and type random numbers till u get to an operator

Called at 6:13PM on December 3 but left no message.

I get different calls from different numbers, all claiming to be Capital One, but the callers all have a very foreign accent - DUH. they are asking for a certain person by name and this certain person doesn't live here, never has and never will. We might have gotten her phone number when we got this one a year ago, but we do not know anyone by that name.When I do answer their call, there is a long silence and a voice comes on saying 'I have a call for you please wait', so I waited and got that woman with an Indian or some far eastern accent, could be Thai also and she is looking for someone, wasn't me. she got angry and so did I and I told her I was sick and tired of getting their f...g calls and I hung up. I usually do not use that language, I am 72 years young and should know better....lol.... but they are getting the better of me. By the way, it is just past 11 AM here and I already had 4 calls from them this morning.

I am so freaking tired of this # calling me SEVERAL times a day!!!! I wish they would leave me alone!!! Don't have anything with capital one!!!!

It is Capital One from Florida, as I called them back because they kept calling and left no message. I told them that I have no account with them. Apparently they are trying to collect a debt from someone else who had my new cell phone # previously. They said they'd remove my number shortly.

Capital One does this from time to time, calling over and over, leaving no message, or hanging up without a word if I actually answer. Our card with them is in pristine condition so they have no reason to harrass it. If they want to change the terms of my card, WRITE ME!! By the way, I'm off on sick leave at the moment and calling me early on a Sunday, especially on Fathers' Day is an outrage. Give it a rest!!

I've gotten 10 calls in the last 3 days. I answered the phone today and nothing, just dead air for about 4 minutes. - They've only left 1 message - they claimed to be Capitol One - I'm guess the people who claimed this is a scam are correct. I'm surprised how long this number has been going for - I would think these guys would have been shut down by now.
