I just received the same phone call. They told me the exact same thing about an old U.S. Bank account. Also, they wanted me to fax them a copy of the origional paid in full lettter. I'm very glad I looked them up and will be taking legal actions shortly as over the last 4 years this acccount has been sold to these kinds of companies and I'm tired of being harrassed!

Glad I read these posts! I'ts time for legal action! They said they wer a company called PI Processing but after looking up the number it was PC Processing out of Farmingdale, NY. They are scammers! I am also on the do not call register and I work for the government! I will sue them!

So I got the call from these people saying I owed 1300 to them from a cell phone debt. Kind of alot for a cell phone. So I did what could gave them 20 that day then 80 then 100. And then I started to think about it something didn't add up. So I stopped paying them they called a few times then the calls have stopped. Probably cause the realized I wasn't going to pay them. I then checked my credit report. Absolutely nothing from them on there. Luckily I used a credit card and got the money back. But this place is absolutely a scam do not give then anything the buy old debt I guess and threaten you with court it's a lie. And in mass( where I am from) it's illegal to attempt to collect a debt after 7 years. Report these people!!!! As I did

I contacted the BBB and filled out a complaint on line. I urge everyone to contact them and any other agency you can think of. Lets shut these people down. There is no way any of us are liable for a debt that happened years and years ago. These people are wolves and we collectively need to not only speak out...but take action. This world is going to hell and we all sit and complain what we need to do it band together and say NO MORE!

I was contacted 3 years by this company (by mail) when they were operating under Consolidebt. The letter said I owed money for a credit card I never had. I sent a certified letter to the address asking them to verify the debt. They refused the letter and it was returned to me. Since then, they do not send anything in the mail, but they call me repeatedly, leaving messages that violate the law. They have been operating under a number of different names, such as Credit Smart, Consolidebt, American something, etc. I'm now receiving calls and the same recorded message from a new number: "866-410-5553." If they are calling you, watch out for their many reinventions. Not only do they always change their story, but they change their name, and they change their phone number. However, the same annoying voices always are used on the recordings. Does anyone know if there is a class action suit against this company? I would like to join it! With the economy such as it is, these people deserve the dingiest, dirtiest, and smelliest jail cell possible. Shame on them for scamming people who don't owe them money!If you get a call from them, don't pay! Don't answer! Don't call them back!

To add info to my previous post......Don't believe them if they say your credit is adversely affected. I pulled my credit from all 3 agencies and it's excellent. They are just bottom feeders. Report them.

They call at random intervals, sometimes twice within 5-10 minutes. Never leave a message.

Just got a call from them initially from a 8884164980 Sarah Levy and John Stevenson are the suppose owners of the "law firm" so they transferred me to 631 247-9920 number and stated that they have an old sprint bill check this out since 2001 and its over $500+, they stated that they were going to take me to court, I said so your coming all the way from NY to TX to sue me over $500 bucks! Then they offered me a settlement letter...talk about stupid! I was in Germany in 2001!!!!

Still calls even though they have refused to provide any real information. Now the calls are from "C S Processing" about a legal claim of debt. As before, my only debt is currently being paid off through a Legitimate and well known law firm. Total Scammers.

Robo-call me about 4 times a week, saying there's a message I should listen to. I usualy hang up.Recently I called this number and was advanced to a "Sarah Levy" (Law firm?)I called the number given I got a secretary? who stated she dodn't know who I was calling, and I had to tell her a code Number so she could direct my call.Pure scam, Don't know who to call, Yeah sure.Won't be calling back, LONG out of Statute.
