They called 2 of my friends at work. The friends sent me most unhappy e-mails. They wanted to know how that supposed creditor got their info. I honestly don't know....as I do not believe it is a true debt, nor do I even know the phone number of either of my friends at work. I wonder if they use Facebook or other internet searches to come up with info. People really need to be careful what they put on these social networks...as someone is spending a lot of time putting people "together" to pressure them for money, through harassing their friends.I did a lot of research, and online complaints to major places yesterday....and hope to have stopped it all too. They have been harassing me for many months...daily...several times daily sometimes. They are very strange as when you ask who they are they say a lawyer, then they say we are the court system, then we are the DA, then an in-between agency, and the list goes on...it is really bad.What kind of people would spend all day doing this? What kind of pay do they get? It must be good. Big Jerks!!

Yes, I had the same problem for a year asking for someone I don't even know. I have had my phone # for 25 years. Today I was done. I called my local phone company who told me to call my local sheriff's dept. I did. I was advised to call them back and tell them they had the wrong phone #. To my surprise I called them the lady just said "Hello". No CS Processing. Right there is fraud enough to me. I explain that I don't know these people and they have the wrong phone #. She got a little rude with me and said my phone # was taken off there list. If they call again I was advised to call my local authorities.

These people starting callind my sons cell phone about a month ago telling him that his dad owed 1500 some dollars from a past US Bank account and if not paid will start legal action.My husband does not owe money to US Bank!!!! told my son what it was about and the amount which is illegal!!!! to tell other peoples debt to start off with! Can sue them for atleast 1,0000 per time. We called state attorneys office and they sent us a claim form to fill out to send to them to stop calling!!! Attorneys office told us that if they call again to keep all calls on record and log them. Then they will take more action against them dont need a lawer to sue just attorneys office. Well guess what calls stopped for a couple of weeks just started again on sons phone different number but same people. We are keeping a log of times and dates we are calling back attorneys office to let them know we will see what happens now. Call Your State Attorneys Office!!!!!!
