Received a call stating that my service from At and T was being suspended. I do not even have an account with them

I got a call from this number on my cell for the first time yesterday. The phone is not in my name, nor do I have a well-known number. After reading here that it is ATT, it is starting to make sense. My phone was rolled into a family plan with Cingular some time ago, and my old account had carried a credit balance ever since. I finally called to get a refund on the balance about a week ago. I guess I somehow made myself known to AT&T by doing so. Guess I have to let my dad know to expect the charge!

Just received a call from this number. This is AT&T’s number, but recently there have been scam calls going around using already in service numbers, like cell phone numbers and active business numbers. They are pretending to be with companies in attempts to gain information for identity theft. I spoke with AT&T and was informed they do NOT do any sort of bill credit calls to customers; any such offers are offered in stores or on their website.

called twice left voicemail both times stating my verizon account was suspended until verification

Just received a call from this number, it said that my account had been suspended. I thought it was referring to my cell phone account and didn't understand how that could be possible as it is part of a family account. I pressed 2 to speak with a rep and hung up when it asked for the last four digits of the account holders social. That felt sketchy. I blocked the number and reported it as spam. Will keep an eye out for erroneous charges.

So yeah, I just got a missed call and voicemail from this number, saying that they are blocking my account. Funny thing is that I don't have AT-T. WTF?

I just spoke with an AT&T representative and got the charge for this month removed, however he said they were not affiliated with the Bid4Prizes3.com. But where it lists the merchant's number it is in fact At&T. He informed me that the only way that I could have been charged was through an internet 3rd party. It is apparent to me that I need to call back and will do so and let you know the outcome. For those of you who do not know what to do, you can call AT&T and get the charges stopped; as far as reimbursement for the others, AT&T claims they are unable to assit in that matter. I will update later.

They called my cell phone and left a robo voice message saying this is Verizon Wireless, your account has been suspended pending verification. My cell phone provider is not Verizon, and it is not suspended. Sounds like a phishing attempt.

Called 10:30 pm and stated it was at&t and service had been suspended. I do not and will not ever have at&t.
