Got a call from this number. Didn’t leave a messsge. Went online to check the number. Here I am. I had at&t many years ago. No longer with them. No reason for them to be calling me. Scam.,
Here we go again - more scam calls. If I hadn't been watching the bills, I'd have missed the $9.99 charge (10-something, with taxes no less) for this alleged mobile download or purchase from "OpenMarket". When I called AT&T to have this bogus charge removed (and yes, the number above is their customer service number even though it shows up as attached to the OpenMarket vendor when listed on the bill) the operator tried to convince me that my Dad had done something to initiate the service. Dad knows how to open the phone, accept a call, and dial out - that's it. He certainly isn't surfing the net on his phone looking for additional services!
I received a call from this number today. The caller said they wanted to verify my service and needed the last 4 digits of my social security number. I blew and air horn into the phone. I don't think they'll call again.
I wanted to know why I was billed $9.99 twice on my verzion bill. I never signed up for your services.
Said my account was suspended for some reason. I got no emails or texts about this. Supposedly from AT&T. I only have a credit card with AT&T
I just found charges from Bid4Prizes3 (Motricity) on my son's cell phone too. Six months worth!! I called the number listed (which is AT&T) and they said they would cancel it, but they couldn't tell me what kind of subscription it was. My son has no idea what it is either.
I dialed the number you suggested and guess what, it's been changed. They give a directory assistance number to call, but I'llprobably get charged for that too.
