I kept getting $9.99 charges for the past 3-4 months. Well this last bill had THREE $9.99 charges on it. I'm getting tired of paying these charges that I have no idea what they are from. The descriptions on these downloads are: Thumbplay, FREEZEMOB, and Predicto. Never heard of them!I called the number on the bill (1-800-331-0500), which is ATT and talked to a sales rep. She told me that these subscriptions come from when you download ringtones, give out your number online, or even vote for American Idol. Something attaches to it and starts charging your cell account with these subscriptions. She cancelled the subscription for me and will credit next month bill for the charges I had to pay this time.($39.99!!) So hopefully it is done with now!

Same story as everyone else. 9.99 as a "download charge". That's funny, we don't even have internet access on our 5 phones. Ant the ATT customer service lady confirmed that. How stupid does ATT think we are. Think about it. If they get away with this little scam 100,000 times nationwide per month at $10.00 per pop, guess what, somebody screwed the consumers for one million dollars. And I thought our government was crooked. And our bank and lending operators. Look at these guys. Talk about crooked. Every month I am calling ATT to "fix" my bill. Looks like something there is very "broken". One more month and I throw in the towel with these people.

Calling on Thanksgiven, Really??

I answered this one without looking, seeing as it's Thanksgiving and the phone had been ringing a lot. No response when I answered, they just hung up after a few seconds. Shows up on caller ID as "Legacy Mobility".

They just called at 11:45 pm on Thanksgiving. I did not pick up but came here to find out what 's going on. It looks like from earlier posts and other reporting sites that we are all going to get hit with a noticeable charge on our next bill and we will have to make our phone company reverse the charge. Watch Your bills this number always means you will get hit with a huge charge. They have been hitting people for up to $50 on our bills since 2007

Called at 12:51 am. I don't have att. Haven't had att for like 5 years.Ridiculous

Even thought I did not know the number, I answered this call since I am job hunting and I thought it might be a recruiter. When I said hello, a robo-voice said it was AT&T and my account has been suspended for verification. It asked me to press a number to speak to a representative. I did not do what the voice asked, and it repeated the recorded message then hung up. I have an app that looks up phone numbers and I checked this one. There were a LOT of notes on this. Since my cell phone was clearly not suspended (they called me on my cell, after all) I knew it was a scam. The number came back to a company called Legacy Mobility, but it may or may not be them, since phone numbers can be easily spoofed

They called at 1am in morning!
