This is a phone number from Capital One with a recording of someone named "Linda" with an 'important business matter to discuss' made to sound like she is personally calling you. If you are 1 or 2 days past due with your payment, the fake "Linda" starts calling multiple times a day. Once you get caught up, "Linda" vanishes.
Capital One, I missed a payment and they're calling to check on me and see when I can pay them.
It's Cap 1. I don't have any accounts with them, and they call daily, sometimes up to 3x's a day. I've told them to stop& they continue. What's even more annoying is, most of the time, I'll answer and it's silent. They just called today...Sunday, Mothers Day! I wish they'd lay off.
they really need to stop calling after 8pm been getting calls around 1000p- 1100pm my address is one state my cell is still from my previous city , don't like getting wake up calls from them they need to stop or leave a message
We pay our bills on time. They are NEVER late. And we been getting phone calls from them. There is no reason why they should be calling at all. I just looked at the bill that just came in 2 days ago and no where even near my due date. This is BS they are calling here for no reason at all!!!!
Three calls in 3 days. This is not in fact Capital One, but a scam. The # number comes from Tampa, Fl. 813 area code and the real Capital One credit card Fraud Dept. knows nothing about these numbers or any inquiries. They do however advise not to answer the phone or give out personal info. Duhh,.. No kidding ?? That's a big help too, eh,....?
If you are concerned that someone has stolen your identity- one important thing to do is to add a credit alert with all the credit reporting companies. Get a copy of your credit report. You are entitled to one free report each year. If you have never had a credit card with Capital one and you call be very limited with your information, be careful that you are not being scammed
